Eagan, MN – Today, Angie Craig released the following statement after receiving an endorsement from President Barack Obama.

“I am proud and grateful to have received this endorsement from President Obama, who stands tall among national leaders,” said Craig. “His legacy is built on a commitment to civility in our public discourse and a willingness to set politics aside in the push for progress. It’s an honor to have earned his support as we work to make sure all families in Minnesota have access to affordable healthcare, a quality education, including vocational skills training, and the opportunity for a brighter future. Following President Obama’s example of public service, I’ll never give up on the Minnesota and the America we can create together.”

Craig is a former journalist and healthcare leader who lives with her wife and four sons in Eagan. She is challenging Rep. Jason Lewis in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District. Please visit angiecraig.com to learn more.
