Eagan, MN – Today, Angie Craig, who is challenging Rep. Jason Lewis in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District, announced that her campaign will report raising more than $2 million during the third quarter of 2018. This includes money previously reported during their pre-primary reporting period (July 1-25) and covers the months of July, August and September.

This is the fourth quarterly report from Craig for the cycle. Individual donors have made more than 132,000 contributions averaging $32 to Craig’s campaign for Congress. The campaign has over $1.7 million on hand as of September 30 and has raised more than $4.1 million since filing on October 1, 2017.

“This outpouring of grassroots support and the enthusiasm for our campaign is humbling,” said Craig. “We are grateful for the tens of thousands of people who are moving our campaign to the finish line. Together, we can make sure all families have access to the things they need most – affordable healthcare and higher education, access to vocational skills training for a good job, and a fair shot at a better life.”

The campaign’s announcement follows a new The New York Times and Siena College pollshowing Craig with a 12 point lead over Jason Lewis in the Second Congressional District Race.

A complete fundraising report will be available when it is filed with the Federal Elections Commission prior to their October 15, 2018 reporting deadline.
