Eagan, MN – More than 300 volunteers participated in the Angie Craig for Congress campaign’s Now or Never Weekend of Action this weekend, knocking on doors, making phone calls and marching in parades across the Second Congressional District.
“It’s clear that voters are ready for a change. Working families in the Second Congressional District and across Minnesota are struggling with unaffordable healthcare, a lack of infrastructure investment, the rising cost of higher education and a lack of focus on vocational training and career skills,” said Craig. “We have less than 60 days until Election Day. It’s truly now or never. I am inspired by the dedicated volunteers who showed up to knock doors, make calls and march in parades this weekend. Together, we will win this seat and make positive change for the people of Minnesota.”
Over the weekend, Craig attended door knock kick-offs in Burnsville and West St. Paul, as well as marched in the Burnsville Fire Muster parade and toured local breweries in Hastings and Prior Lake. Supporters also marched in parades in Inver Grove Heights and Jordan.
Craig is a former journalist and healthcare leader who lives with her wife and four sons in Eagan. She is challenging Rep. Jason Lewis in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District. Please visit angiecraig.com to learn more.
