womenwinning is proud to endorse Angie Craig for Congress in the Second District

Saint Paul, Minn. – womenwinning announced today the endorsement of Angie Craig for Congress in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District. Craig was narrowly defeated by Representative Jason Lewis in 2016.

“We are extremely excited to throw our support behind Angie early in this race because we need better representation for women, families, and communities in the Second Congressional District,” said Lauren Beecham, executive director for womenwinning. “Angie has the campaign infrastructure, finances, name recognition, and most importantly the vision and leadership to win in 2018.”

Craig is a former business executive and mother of four whose campaign is built around the promise of greater opportunity for hardworking Minnesota families. She looks to use her more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry to contribute meaningfully to immediately fixing what’s wrong with healthcare today, lower the cost, and work to expand healthcare to every family. womenwinning endorsed Craig for her 2016 campaign, as well.

“I’m honored to again earn the support and endorsement of womenwinning,” said Craig. “I’m running for Congress to create a Minnesota with greater opportunity for all of us, and this is a critical step in building the team that will lead us to victory next year.”

womenwinning’s endorsement not only provides significant operational support but also campaign momentum which can be critical in tight races.
