Eagan, MN – Today, Angie Craig, who is challenging Rep. Jason Lewis in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District, announced that her campaign will report raising more than $1 million during the second quarter of 2018. The period covers the months of April, May and June.
The total fundraising amount is one of the largest in the nation this past quarter for a Congressional challenger. This is the third quarterly report from Craig for the cycle.
More than 34,000 individual donors have given contributions averaging $44 to Craig’s campaign for Congress.
The campaign has over $1,500,000 on hand as of June 30th and has raised more than $2,100,000 since filing on October 1, 2017.
“I’m humbled and honored by the grassroots support this past quarter and believe voters in Minnesota’s second district are ready for change,” said Craig. “Tens of thousands of people have chipped in – many of them just $2 or $3 – to ensure our campaign has what it needs to win in November.”
A complete fundraising report will be available when it is filed with the Federal Elections Commission prior to their July 15th, 2018 reporting deadline.
